Possak School of Irish Dancing hired me to do a refresh of their branding and website (stationery soon to follow). The school had a logo but it didn’t evoke a professional look and feel. The client suggested a shield but didn’t want it to look too rigid. When combined with the Celtic knot and the soft greens, it looks sophisticated but not intimidating. The typography has a modern Celtic feel.
The website has rotating images of the dancers on stage showcasing some of their signature steps. There is also a gallery of images (on-stage and behind-the-scenes) as well as news items so dancers can keep on top of what’s happening at the school and various competitions and performances. The site also has a fully-functioning Members Only section with important information for students and their families.
